Our board certified ophthalmologists have completed fellowships in surgical retina and honed their skills through many years of experience.

Our History
Dr. Brooks established the practice in 1990 and was the first retina surgeon to serve the Florida Panhandle. In 1993, he was joined by Dr. Steinmetz and the practice was renamed Southern Vitreoretinal Associates.
Dr. Newell joined in 1999. Dr. Willingham joined in 2004 and Dr. Ashmore joined in 2007. Dr. Farber joined the practice August of 2018.
